Project Description

AXIS-MIPP Mid-IR Pulse Picker

Main Features:

  • Developped for mid-IR (l = 2.8 µm)
  • Based on a RTP crystal (2 mm x 2 mm x 20 mm)

  • Extinction ratio: > 200:1

  • Uses photodiode signal from laser oscillator (50 MHz)
  • Pulse picking frequency: 0.8 to 67 kHz

  • Internal jitter-free delay generator ( 25 ps steps)

  • 2 programmable output channels at picking frequency for applications.

  • Control via USB interface

AXIS-MIPP Mid-IR Pulse Picker

Measurements @ 2.8 µm

The fiber laser generates femtosecond pulses @ 2.8 microns at a rate of 45 MHz.

The pulse picker frequency is 67 kHz.
