AXIS-SXRF-60: Very Large-Area Soft X-ray sCMOS Camera on a Flange
AXIS-SXRF-60 is a new soft x-ray sCMOS camera for measurements from 200 eV to 2 keV. It is based on a 61×61 mm backside illuminated scientific CMOS which is able to acquire low noise 36 Mpix images with a frame rate up to 26 Hz through its optical link.
The mechanics have been designed to allow the user to bring the detector surface as very close to the sample under study.
As for software, a generic control application is provided. A SDK and a Tango device are also available.

Application Examples
SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, USA
At the chemRIXS endstation of LCLS, the AXIS-SXRF-6060 detector is integrated into the SVLS spectrometer as part of the standard experimental configuration. It is applied in resonant inelastic X-ray scattering (RIXS) and X-ray emission spectroscopy (XES) to investigate ultrafast processes in molecules and materials. The system enables high-resolution measurements of weak fluorescence signals, providing access to electronic structure, charge transfer, and energy flow on femtosecond timescales.
